This is an all female scout troop with girls ranging in age from 11 to 17 years old.
Troop 456 has been meeting virtually since November. We were live from July through November, and went on several campouts. When live, all events are masked and we track temperatures at each event. We plan go back to in-person meetings outdoors in late March.
We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7pm
Due to Covid, we are currently meeting only on Zoom. We hope to be back at our normal location soon.
We have several female Scoutmasters with over 15 years of experience each! We welcome the support of both Moms and Dads.
In January before quarantine, the Troop went skiing in Cadillac. We stayed at a nearby camp.
November at Mackinaw on Lake Michigan. We were blessed with a warm blast and our "Dark Park" campout included fun on the beach.
Events in first aid, orienteering, lashing, geocaching, hiking and fire building have all been meeting activities.
